Set registry value with run once

I have been searching the forum like mad but I can't find any info on how to change a registry value with

a "run one time" feature.

I want to manually force Windows Update to "Notify before download" with this reg tweak:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update]
"AUOptions"=dword:00000002

Can someone please give me the heads up

Thanks, but not really what I was hoping to find.

It might solve my problems though, so I'll have a look at it.
