Outlook 2003 Calendar problem

I'm using Outlook 2003 on a Vista Home Basis OS. Often (but not always) when I accept scheduled meeting invitations from others, the meeting gets scheduled to 'recurring' on my calendar, even though it has been sent as a single meeting. The meeting recurs 'to infinity'. I've tried to set/reset every calendar option available, but so far no luck.

Any suggestions?
