willv28 Posted July 17, 2008 Share Posted July 17, 2008 I did not take the old NT4 approach for this by using a profile and renaming ntuser.dat to ntuser.man. I used the Group Policy approach. I copied a profile to a server share and set my AD accounts to point to that profile (\\server\profilefolder). Then in group policy is set merging local copy with server copy to disabled so users couldn't change the profile.The result is the group policy settings stopped taking effect. If I take the profile off the policies work just fine. I had tried the .man method before and the same thing happened.Any ideas? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
