ryanmus Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 I'll try to be exhaustive about what I am looking to do but forgive me if I miss some things.I am making an image of Windows that will be deployed via WDS. The machines will be on an AD domain, and any user with a valid account can login to the machines. I am looking for a way to make the My Documents folder for any user who will log into the machine default to their network drive.I can't have this be set up as a domain setting, as some users take laptops home and need to access their files, meaning they have to store things locally - hence trying to build this into an image that will only be deployed to desktops. I have been unable to find an entry in the registry that will apply to all users that log into the machine. Is this something that is possible via editing the registry? My other idea is to create a login script that runs once on initial login that will redirect the My Documents folder to a network drive, is this worth pursuing if it cannot be done another way? Thanks in advance -Ryan
