yucatan Posted June 28, 2008 Share Posted June 28, 2008 i have made a usb stick bootable with diskpart but i still can start my winpe 2.0 i get the errorfile : /boot/bcdstatus0xc000000ei search the net but i cant find what i do wrong can somebody help me pleas. This set of commands assumes your USB key is detected as disk 1, you should double check that by doing a list of the disks before cleaning it. If you have multiple hard drives you could end up wiping your second drive using this command. You have been warned.• Diskpart • select disk 1 • clean • create partition primary • select partition 1 • active • format fs=NTFS • assign • exitThen just copy All files WinPE CD to the USB Key Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Some mainboards give this error but most other mainboards boot fine from the same USB drive. On one mainboard D915GUX, I can boot a USB CD drive WinPE image, but cannot boot the same image when using a USB flash memory stick - but the same stick does boot on every other mainboard I have!
