I have a document that has an ever changing list of descriptions of books and the authors name. I have been trying to figure out how to alphabetize a table of contents or sort a table of contents by the author which is the 2nd TOC level. I have not been able to figure out how to do this and I would really appreciate some assistance. I havae tried to enter the information into excel and sort it there and then create links but the links only go to the word file itself, I cannot seem to figure out how to get them to go to the actual listing they are connected to.

Does anyone out there have any advice or a tutorial they could send me to so I could learn how to do this? I would rather not have to bring everything into acrobat and do it all by hand....
