Disable the "Start Navigation" click sound?

I've looked and looked on the forums and on the web in general, but I've only found two ways to disable the "start navigation" click sound is to manually go to the control panel and either select no sound theme or to specify "None" for the event sound.

This seems pretty counter-productive to everything this site stands for . Does anyone know how to disable it during unattended setup? Anyone? Bueller?

Well I successfully killed the sound by adding the following line to cleanup.cmd:

• DEL "%systemroot%\media\Windows XP Start.wav"

Something seems to be overwriting it if it's set beforehand. Right now I can only come up with running this after first logon:

REG DELETE HKCU\AppEvents\Schemes\Apps\Explorer\Navigating\.Current /va /f
