Donjayok Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Hey Guys,Just wondering if someone can help me.I have made an unattended install of Windows XP PRO (OEM), slipstreamed SP3, added drivers, hotfixes and 4 items in the runonce command. I have made the ISO and then burnt it using Nero to a DVD disc (several times now!). However, when I put it into the PC I am working on it just wont boot, even though all the files are on the DVD and it actually autoruns on other PC when in windows.I read that using Burn-at-once helps to make a DVD bootable, but this option is already selected by default.Any ideas as to why it wont boot?Any help or advice will be appreciated
Donjayok Posted May 16, 2008 Author Posted May 16, 2008 Guys,Problem sorted. Looks like Nero doesnt make your disc bootable. I used ISOBUSTER to make it bootable and it worked!
tech_boy Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 yeah man,all you had to do was make the Unattended files into an .ISO image, then you can use Nero to burn that to DVD if you want, but clearly ISOBuster works too, excellent! -Jon
