Robbiec
Hi AllI have a Vista notebook that has suffered a software crash and unfortunately wont boot up normally even after trying it’s own various built in repair features. Before I go and perform a full recovery, I need to extract documents and email from the\Username\Appdata\Local - sub folders which are actually called Vista “Junction folders”. I’ve connected the hard drive to another PC as a secondary drive, but I’m unable to browse into the required junction folders as I’m prompted with an access denied error even though I’ve changed the security tab and instructed myself to “take ownership”.I was beginning to think the hard drive may be faulty but neither chkdsk or the manufacturer disk checking tools finds any errors. What am I doing wrong ?Robbie
