Restoring MS Office 2003 Preferences

Guys,

We recently had a problem with a users cached profile which meant we had to delete the cached user (backing up the cached profiles beforehand) from the local machine.

The user has since logged onto the machine again and a new profile has been created in c"\Documents and Settings\%username%

Sadly, with the new profile the users custom toolbars and preferences within MS Office have been lost.

Is there anyway we can restore this from the old profile?

Thanks

Yes, these are called PIP files. They are found in C:\Documents and Settings\%userprofile%\Application Data\Microsoft\Office folder.

Each office app has their own. E.g. Access12.pip is for access; excel12.pip is for Excel.
