Where does Windows store taskbar layout info?

A friend of mine has a tablet PC, and she's having an odd problem. Her button for launching the tablet input panel has gone nutso and taken over the entire taskbar, and refuses to learn reason.

I just found instructions for removing the button (here), so I'm going to try removing it and readding it next. However, in case it doesn't work, I was wondering if Windows kept the layout information for the taskbar somewhere where I could nuke it and reset everything. I'd rather not create a new profile if I don't have to.
