cablib extract erro

Hey all. This is my first time trying to use nLite; looks like a very neat tool.

Anyways, I copied all the install files off of my XP Home CD and put the on my hdd in a folder. When I try to scan that folder with nLite, it gives me the error: "CabLib Extract ERROR while extracting files from cabinet: Corrupt cabinet"

And then another box comes up with an error message and buttons to continue, quit, and more details.

If you need those details, please, let me know and I will post them.

At first, I thought it may be because of my CD, so I re-copied everything to my hdd, and that didn't work. I then took ANOTHER XP CD that I had laying around and copied the files off of it, but still got this error. Then I thought it might be my hdd so I copied the files to my secondary hdd and still got the error. Then I came here and found a thread saying that this happens in 1.4 and to install the .NET framework 2.0. Well, I already have that.

I've tried the latest beta version (1.4.5 beta 2) and the earlier 1.4.1 version, and they both give me the error.

Help?

EDIT: Also, I tried to load the CD in nLite and then choose a directory to save the files "The file directory is corrupted and unreadable"

I've tried to save it on all three of my hard drives, none of them work.
