Certificate storage

Hi guys,

When you obtain a certificate for a user from a third party service provider where on the machine does the certificate get stored?

I know you can access the certificates from within IE and are able to export them which is great.

I just have an issue where an application is attempting to 'renew' a certificate for a user but is unable to locate it on the machine. Other users do not have this problem. I am sure they are likely encrypted somewhere within the machine for obvious reasons.
