Hi.

I have been looking around this site for a while, but I'm not able to locate the exact information I need.

I'm trying to figure out how to add drivers to the Win boot/install CD and make them install automatically if corresponding hardware is present in the PC.

I know about using $OEM$ hierachy and OEMPnPDriversPath, OEMPreInstall in answer files to make extra drivers install automatically

My problem is: I can not use answer files.

Reason: It is to be used with a lot of different answer files. Those answer files are build when running a batch file prompting for input.

One example some of you might recognize: Microsoft MOC 'automated' setup. If the OS detects all hardware it normally works like a charm

So basically what I'm looking for is mostly a normal WinXX cd used for attended setup. The only difference is it has added ability to detect and install drivers for hardware not normally 'known' by the OS.

Any suggestions?

Poul
