Aximion

Featured Replies

Aximion is the project developed to provide a 3D interface for Windows-like operation systems. It is not a common 3D shell extension, but a brand new ordinary (2D) windows replacement, with a 3D interactive environment. All two-dimensional windows and forms are transformed into three-dimensional and user can freely move them in 3D space, however user can freely control them as a common 2d graphic user interface.

First free public alpha is now available and has some important restrictions:

- Windows XP 32 bit Service Pack 2 supported only.

- Possible unexpected behaviour with Top-Most windows

- Overlay(video feature) is not supported

- Aximion need fullscreen mode to launch, so you can not run other similar application simultaneously with Aximion. This is OS Windows system restriction.

- To prevent user space disorientation some movement/interaction limitations were applied.

As it is alpha, so many aspects of functionality may be changed or removed in the future.

Current version: 1.0.20 Alpha for Windows XP 32 bit Service Pack 2
