StartUp repair on Harddisk

Hello

How can I install "Startup repair" on the Harddisk?

(I know you can start it from the DVD but I need it on the Harddisk)

I have a singel harddisk with one partition and Vista home premium on it.

In several forum they talk about dual/pre boot and press F8 and so on.

How can I set up the PC with this dualboot setup on an already installed Vista

(In worst case I can reinstal Vista if needed)

Is there any guidline to preInstall "StartUp repair"?
