Hey Guys,

As some of you may know I've made many posts relating to my windows vista issues. Well, today (by accident) I figured out what It was. Besides the problems that were pointed out to me in my previous thread:

http://www.msfn.org/board/Ok-Guys-t115154.html

There was a program that I was using that ultimately f****d up everything. And that my friends Is Nero 8 Ultra Edition. I installed vista home basic today and evereything was working fine until I installed nero. Then I started having the same problems that I was having before with the video and audio not playing right. I didn't realize until I found this thread:

that nero 8 had a lot of directshow filters that It installed without me knowing it. Eventhough I didn't install a lot of the bloatware that comes with it (who needs all that stuff anyway) it still messed up my laptop. After I uninstalled nero everything went back to normal  . So take my advice and stay away from the full verison of nero 8. If I had known this It would've saved me from a year of heartache and pain.

Hm.... I got Vista Ultimate and installed Nero 8 (I think full edition), and yes I installed all that bloat 'cause I couldn't be bothered to untick the boxes. I had absolutely no problems with it, using WMP, iTunes, Media Player Classic, all works.
