Hi everyone.

After a major hard drive crash (c:drive), I have had to install a new version of Windows XP and OFFICE 2002 on my D:drive, as I couldn't boot Windows from C. However, I can still read all info on my C drive.

After Installing OFFICE 2002 and going through all the Windows and Office Updates, I got OUTLOOK up and running (sort of). I could send messages but I could NOT receive them. My guess is that the "old" version of Outlook (on my C: drive) is actually receiving the e-mail messages. Because none of my saved e-mail folders or messages were showing up, I coped 2 files from c:\documents and settings\~\outlook\ to d:\documents and settings\~outlook\ (Outlook.pst and Extend.dat). For some reason these two files were not compatible with my "new" Outlook. So now I am faced with two problems:

1) How to fix my extend.dat and outlook.pst files so that Outlook will run and so that I have access to my saved e-mail.

2) How to fix Outlook so that I can receive e-mail.

I am reluctant to uninstall my Office Small Business 2002 as reinstalling will not fix all the problems.

Can anyone help?
