Can't HexEdit BootSector from WinXP SP2 Pro or Recovery System

Hi, i have a problem when making a Multi-Boot DVD using isolinux, im currently inserting Windows XP Service Pack 2 but when it comes to heediting the BootSector image the program crashes, this occures with all hex editors i tried so far.

I get the same problem when i try to do the same thing with the Recovery Console ISO.
