craig.millard@qxlva.com Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 Hi Guys & Gals,Was hoping if anyone else has attempted to achieve this,I have a piece of software running on windows which has an snmp agent built in handing out snmp, on ports 175,176,177,178. I also have the windows snmp service running on this box under port 161.I wish to monitor these mibs from ops manager 2007 on a different windows machine. From this machine i can use the net-snmp software to snmp-get the details from these ports with performance information. What I want to do though is to set windows snmp service to listen on all of these ports instead of just 161, so that ops manager can view the snmp data.I do know about the etc\services file but this only allows you to use one port. I want to be listening on 5 ports.Sorry if that is alot of info, thought ya would stand more chance understanding it.Thanks in advance! Craig
