BlueStar54 Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 I have turned off AutoComplete in the areas below:Tools>Internet Options>Advanced: Browsing sectionTurned off: Use inline AutoComplete for Web addresses Use inline AutoComplete in Windows ExplorerTools>Internet Options>Content: AutoComplete Button All have no checks onStill when I type in information for a search at google or even here, the AutoComplete window comes up sometimes. Is there a registry hack I can use to completely kill it since I never want to use it?
ldb Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Alexa?If you have Adaware SE, it will remove Alexa, that would be my guess. This is a low threat search helper.
