jsunshine301 Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 I just installed Windows Vista Ultimate yesterday. I ran Media Center once and it crashed when I tried to view a trailer from the internet. Since then Media Center crashes every time I start it. I get a error Message dialog labeled "eHome Assert" that says the following:Messge:WARNING: No valid focus target found. Input from a keyboard or remote will be ignored until focus is restored to a valid site.File: <no filename info>Line: 0Call stack:UiSession.Microsoft.MediaCenter.UI.Input.IInputHost.RepairInvalidKeyFocus <unknown> Microsoft.MediaCenter.UIKeyFocusRepairItem.Dispatch <unknown> Microsoft.MediaCenter.UIDispatcher.DispatchNextItem <unknown> Microsoft.MediaCenter.UIDispatcher.MainLoopBody <unknown> Microsoft.MediaCenter.UIDispatcher.MainLoop <unknown> Microsoft.MediaCenter.UIDispatcher.MainLoop <unknown> Microsoft.MediaCenter.UIApplication.Run <unknown> Microsoft.MediaCenter.UIPageBasedUCPService.Run <unknown> ehshellUserControlPoint.Launch <unknown> ehshellLaunchMediaCenter.LaunchMediaCenterHelper <unknown> ehshellIf I click the ignore button I hear the Media Center intro music but then I'm left with a blank black screen. If I click the abort button I return to normal Windows.Any ideas?
