durbslaw Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Hi All,I deleted the temp folder and emptied the recycle bin ,as it contained what suspiciouly looked like a virus, later I discovered my localhost files would not load because Microsoft JET database engine relies on the temp folder, I then created a new one and changed the system variables to point to it, still receive the JET database (0x80004005) unexpected error.Microsoft KB states that this is because the system variables point to a folder that does not exist, I've checked and re-checked as well as edited the TEMP and TMP folder to point new folder. What do I need to do to over come the JET error?Thanks...
