OOBEINFO.INI

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I've been doing a lot of unattended installs recently on a virtual machine gradually tweaking settings until I get it set up just right. One thing that I seem to be messing up however is using the OOBEINFO.INI method for automatically creating one user. I've added the OOBEINFO.INI to \$OEM\$$\system32\oobe and yet while it does skip the create initial user bit in the GUI setup phase, when the log on screen flashes up it's got one user displayed there, the administrator, which obviously ain't what's meant to be happening......

If anyone could shed any light on this I'd be most appreciative :thumbup cheers peeps

EDITED: I'm sorry, people that don't look hard enough for answers before posting do my 'ead in and it appears i've just joined their ranks :blushing: bit more looking through previous posts finds some relevant info, sorry bout that.....ignore me.......
