Windows cannot find '-silent' firefox switches

This is what I am trying

Start /wait %systemdrive%\install\ff2.0.0.12.exe /S

start /wait "%PROGRAMFILES%\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -silent -setDefaultBrowser"

When I do I get Windows cannot find '-silent' and then some more. Any idea whats wrong?

This works fine : start /wait Firefox\firefox.exe /S for install

You cannot start firefox with -silent

I usually install firefox with -ms switch.

START ["title"] [/Dpath] [/I] [/MIN] [/MAX] [/SEPARATE | /SHARED]
      [/LOW | /NORMAL | /HIGH | /REALTIME | /ABOVENORMAL | /BELOWNORMAL]
      [/WAIT] [/B] [command/program]
      [parameters]

The first parameter is the title if its in quotes, so to use paths with spaces you have to set the title, like this.

start /wait "" "%PROGRAMFILES%\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -silent -setDefaultBrowser
