mlburgoon Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 I am having an issue with vista (only vista). When I am pushing a package through SMS, and that package calls on an external .exe file in the same folder as the original .exe file, the OPEN FILE SECURITY WARNING dialog box pops up during the distribution. I am stumped as to how to get this to STOP occurring. It does not have a problem with launching the original .exe file, just any others that are called by that .exe file.I hope I have explained this well enough. This is in a LARGE corporate environment and turning off UAC is probably not going to happen.Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.
cluberti Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 I would suggest first placing that external share location (especially if it's a UNC) into the "Local Intranet" zone of the machine, and reboot (yes, reboot). Then try again.
