I was able to get a hold of a Vista Ultimate DVD, but my system will not boot from it. All BIOS settings are correct and my system will boot from any other bootable CD/DVD. When trying to burn the files using nero I will get an error message saying the install.exe is larger then 2GB and must be burned as a UDF DVD instead of an ISO. But the only option Nero gives me is to make a bootable ISO DVD. Here are the files on the DVD:

Now when I open the Boot Folder this is what is in there:

Ive been searching all over google for the past few hours, but have yet to find out how to make my DVD bootable. Any Help?

after hours of reading around I came to see that you use cdimage to create the bootable iso. The problem I'm having is that it doesn not create the iso... it will come up with "access is denied"

the command I'm entering is>

cdimage.exe -bC:\Vista\boot\etfsboot.com -h -u2 -m -lVISTA_EN_DVD C:\Vista\ C:\Vista.iso

and this is my screenshot that I get

finally figured it out... the problem I was having was that it was not letting me create the new file in that specific directory, that's why I was getting the "Access is Denied" error. So all I did was put the last file name to another directory such as C:\Users\Owner\.... and it worked.... also, I didnt have to put the "Volume label in the command. I was trying to look for the exact syntax I used, but I'm a bit drunk right now and its just getting me frustrated, LoL
