January 28, 200818 yr hi there.i have this vista-ripped chinese pinyin ime, which works fine with windows xp sp2. so i wonder how can i put this ime in the windows xp sp2 installation cd so that i can have it installed with the system unattended?i mean, which files do i need to copy to which folder(s) of the xpcd? and how do i set the winnt.sif file or some other configuration file?thanks.
January 28, 200818 yr What is an "ime"? Assuming it's an application of some sort, you could have it install via SVCPACK.INF for example. You can use SVCPACK.INF for copy processes too, as well as applying Registry scripts.
January 29, 200818 yr Author ime is the short form for input method editor. it helps to type chinese characters.still don't understand the .inf file you mentioned, but will try to search info on that. thanks for helping.
