How to automatically run Windows Update (wupdmgr.exe?)

Is there a way to run Windows Update automatically without having to use the "Automatic Updates" feature in Windows XP?

I would like to see that the computer starts Internet Explorer with the update.microsoft.com webpage and does download and install everything automatically.

No, you want to install updates automatically you'll have to download the update packages from microsoft and script their installation - or, configure automatic updates to download and install updates automatically (although that'll happen in the background, as will the installation).
