emlclcy Posted January 5, 2008 Share Posted January 5, 2008 Hi people,I've a dell M1730 with a raid0 disk drive(s) it came installed with vista. The problem i've got is the cad tool i use only runs under xp pro sp2 and if i try and install the xp cd it does not see the disk drives. someone on another forun sugested the nLite tool was the way forward but i'm more of an end user than a software guy so i'm a little wary of screwing up my pc!so if anyones go a idea where i should look please feel free to shout out!thankscarl Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Arie Posted January 5, 2008 Share Posted January 5, 2008 But your SATA/RAID drivers on diskette, boot from your Windows XP installation disc and press F6 when offered at the beginning of the setup to install your drivers and it should all work fine and you won't have any need for nLite.
