A couple of questions here. First of all, only business and enterprise versions of windows vista can be activated via KMS, correct? Or is there a way to activate Ultimate as well?

Second, for the school I work at, we just recently got our KMS vista number. However, the license agreement states that we can use vista in the school and one copy at our home. Is there an easy way to set up a SECURE KMS server that computers can activate over the internet from there home?

you don't want to expose your KMS server to the internet, if anyone else finds it they could theoretically get your keys out of it, you should have gotten a MAK key as well for machines that cannot connect to a KMS server often.
