rgx_singh Posted December 29, 2007 Share Posted December 29, 2007 dear friends i have made a unattended installation of win xp with the help of nlite final v.... it works fine... but to enable unattended installation i have to write this command again and agian ... is there is any way to make this command autoplay... i mean when i put my unattended CD it automaticaly execute this command "winnt32 /unattend:winnt.sif"..... and what if i start installation from dos i mean not windos xp... on a raw PC.should i make a bat file which execute above command and then boot it.plz repy soon Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
smilodon Posted December 30, 2007 Share Posted December 30, 2007 If its something to do with Autorun then modify Autorun.INF in CD root.[AutoRun]open=setup.exe <- change this to a batch file which contains your line what you want to be run.icon=setup.exe,0Well if there comes an empty PC, without any OS, you just set it to boot from CD-ROM and no need for any Autorun stuff... no need for dos or any other OS.
