Win. Live/Outlook Express

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how I can rid my computer of Windows Live.

I foolishly signed up for this and immediately Outlook Express ceased working.

I do not require all the 'advanced features' of Live but just a simple and quick mail handling program. Outlook Express was ideal for my purposes.

I am using XP Pro

The simplest terms would be appreciated.

EDIT OK. Sorted it. Identities had gone missing from Applications Data folder. Outlook Express now up and running.

But what great customer service from Microsoft. Three emails sent over the past two weeks and not a single reply.
