TooMuchFreeTime Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 Well I made my AIO-DVD and everything worked perfectly when I tested it in VMware...but when I burned it on DVD and tried to use it in real computer this is the result:Error booting from CD/DVD drive.Press any key to reboot...(at bottom of screen)[(grey squares)..............] 808002F9This error appears before the CDSHELL picture so all my perfectly working installs of various OSses are useless because you never can even start the installation process...Has this happened to anyone else?Any ideas how to get around this?I have gotten this error on two diffirent computers so it's probably not related to DVD drive other hardware...both computers had CD/DVD drive as first boot device in bios if it matters.Any kind of help is welcome... thanks in advance!
vinay2k6 Posted December 30, 2007 Posted December 30, 2007 This happened for me so many times and i have traced out the problem.1. It is due to CD is not Burned properly.2. You are Burning on a Re-writable Disc so many times.3. Problem with your CDROM.I also prepared a bootable cd with CDSHELL , and i tested on so many computers, but i haven't got any error as you mentioned.
TooMuchFreeTime Posted December 31, 2007 Author Posted December 31, 2007 Apparently it was a bad burn... I just made the DVD again with cdimage/cdshell combo yesterday and it worked perfectly allthough it was made in exact same way...
