Validating a security token

Hi,

I have a C# client which requests a security token from a Security Token Service using WSE 3.0 and gets back a RequestSecurityTokenResponse. I am not sure if this a valid response. Can anybody tell me how do i check the RequestSecurityTokenResponse for its validity? Do I need to send some request back to STS for the validity of the token? if yes How?
