moving controls between forms

hello--I have a VB6 app with several dozen controls (sliders, buttons, text boxes, etc). Depending on some general users model selection settings I want some subset of these controls to appear in different combinations on the form. Can I define these controls on another form (say form 2) & have the needed ones move over to form 1? What is the best way to approach this? I tried putting them all on form 1 & using the visible properties, but this creates quite a mess during layout. Thoughts?
