Customising the Common Tasks panes

Featured Replies

I'm wondering if this is possible? When you go into a folder XP changes the top left pane depending on the first file it finds I believe. For example it might show "Music Tasks" or "Video Tasks" or "File and Folder Tasks" and so on. It also shows "Other Places" below that.

Now I'm trying to find out how to remove those two parts completely? Or at least have it ALWAYS default to "File and Folder Tasks" i.e. no Music/Video/Other... I want to keep the Preview Panel though so Classic View isn't quite what I had in mind. Any takers for this challenge? Thanks in advance :)
