copying installed applications

Hello,

I am new to this forum and also a novice in terms of computing world. I have seen some of the games (may be pirated versions) which are required to be copied on the hard disk and thereafter you just have to double-click on the .reg file to make it playable on the system. I want to know how to create that .reg file of any installed application / game. Can anyone help me out please. I don't know if this is permitted on this forum, if not, pl ignore this query.
