v.katalov
We're porting our software from Windows PE 1.2 to Windows PE 2.0. The proble is that WinHelp support has been completely removed from Windows Vista (WinPE 2.0 is based on). I've found KB917607 article (which instructs how to fix that under 'normal' Vista), but unfortunately, such solution does not work for WinPE 2.0 at all. The main WinHelp executable (winhlp32.exe) simply does not run there at all, no idea why.In the meantime, HTMLHelp files (*.chm) are also not accessible in WinPE 2.0 -- they requires IE engine installed.Any idea how to get WinHelp or HTMLHelp working in Windows PE 2.0, or if it is not possible at all -- what particular format we should use for the help files shipped with our WinPE software?/Vladimir
Hysteresis
Look for xCHM. This works pretty well with CHM files in WinPE2.
