Scenario:

I open a web browser (ie6) and visit a page like comcast.net, I login and view a video (opens a new pop up) , I click the x to close the Window when done and it crashes my browser. Has anyone seen this problem before?

yep

try deleting all cached information in your browser. Also try doing a reset of all browser settings. Those worked for me

If all fails, try using Firefox.... its better than IE anyway
