default font for text for alt image tag/IE6/Win98se

Featured Replies

Hello,

Is it right that the font style used for the alt tag in the image tag in IE6/Win98SE is set by some entry in the Windows Registry?

I would like to change that to give bold text - say Arial black - and if possible in blue color. How do I do it?

I have some (small) experience of tweaking Registry successfuly todate.

Thanks in appreciation of help

Hello,

The default fonts for OS of win98se seem to be all in Registry under Hkey_Local Machine - software - Microsoft - Windows - current version - fontsize - 120 - system and user'

Dunno which is for which- changed in 'user' MS Sans Serif to Arial Black - rebooted and saw no sign of any change either on Desktop icons text, nor for alt image tag text.

Anyone got any idea which of the 8 fonts is for which System text? Or do I have be like 'henny penny' and 'do it all myself'?

Thanks for any help
