Viper187 Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 (edited) Ok. Here's the problem. I needed 2 different version of XP installed on here, plus I wanted to try Vista. I had both XP installs working on the usual boot menu, then installed Vista. Vista uses it's own crap menu and I can't get both installs of XP to boot from that menu even with EasyBCD. It always reads boot.ini from the C: even if there's a copy on the partition where the secondary install of XP is. That means I still have to select between the 2 XP installs on the XP boot menu no matter what I choose on the Vista menu. So is there a way to get any of the 3 OSes to boot without going through both the Vista menu and XP menu? I'm this close to saying screw Vista and removing it. Edited November 27, 2007 by Viper187
