dexterdoo Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 I have an ATI All-In-Wonder video card and the TV tuner was working fine but now has stopped. I have uninstalled the software using the ATI Tool and reinstalled it but still, no go ! The tuner will start to load and then stop and CPU usage will stay at 99% until i cntl-alt-del to get out of the program. I know it's a software issue because the tuner works with a fresh install on another hard drive. My question is - is there a way to find out what is causing the program not to work (debugging, diagnostics etc.) or am I going to have to wipe my drive and start over again ? Seems like there should be a way to locate whatever is causing the tuner program to stop loading ??? I've done all the virus and spyware scanning already !I have a hunch that the "windows explorer has encountered a problem" error message I get, almost every time I shut down, is related cuz they both started around the same time !Anyone know how to troubleshoot this type of problem ?
