Using [OEMBootFiles] Section with subdirectories in unattended Set

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm trying to use 2 different versions of intel's SATA drivers (version 5.5 and 7.X)

I have copied the 2 different versions in 2 subdirs in the "$OEM$\textmode" dir and added:

[OEMBootFiles]

disk1\iaahci.cat

disk1\iaahci.inf

disk1\iastor.cat

disk1\iastor.inf

disk1\iastor.sys

disk1\Txtsetup.oem

disk2\iaahci.cat

disk2\iaahci.inf

disk2\iastor.cat

disk2\iastor.inf

disk2\iastor.sys

disk2\Txtsetup.oem

During bluescreen installation mode of Windows XP it reports an error saying it cannot copy the file iastor.cat etc... and does'nt continue with the installation.

Can i use subdirectories in the unattended.txt file under the [OEMBootFiles] section? If not then how do i go about solving this issue. Is there another way round this??

Many thanks for anyone's input and ideas on this one.

Curiousity: Why are you trying to use two different versions? Does the new one not have what the old one has? By viewing the new .inf, is it missing anything hardware references that the old one has?
