EC51 Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 In Windows XP, task manager showed "Peak" memory usage under Commit Charge section. However, in Vista, I can't seem to find anything showing peak memory usage. Is there any way I can see what peak memory usage is?
EC51 Posted October 25, 2007 Author Posted October 25, 2007 This must be a difficult question as no one replies. hehe Anyway, Vista's task manager shows quite a bit more detailed information compared to XP and I love it. However, not showing (overlooking) a simple, yet essential factor such as overall peak commit charge of the system is beyond me.
cluberti Posted October 25, 2007 Posted October 25, 2007 You need to run perfmon and add Memory / Commit Limit and Memory / Committed Bytes to see these data points in Vista. They are no longer in task manager.
