nguyenbeo Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 (edited) Hi everybody,I'm new comer of this forum. Hope for your support.I just bought new laptop which is installed "Window Vista Home Premium". Everything is good till i find a problem. When i connect to my supported wireless modem, nothing is happened. But when i locked my laptop and re-login, then my wireless connection have been broken down. I tried to test this problem many times and the result is same to issue which i told above. Is this reason caused my laptop or my window? Somebody tell me know? Thanks in advance. fizban2 Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Welcome to the forums! hopefully we can get this working again, first things first. What kind of machine/wireless card and router are your tring to connect to? you say wireless modem but is it truly a modem or actually a router (name and model would help) if the router is older there is a good chance you will have to update the firmware on it before you will be able to use it with wireless in vista. any other detials you could provide on the machine and the hardware involved would great help us help you
