changing language in Outlook Express

This is a question from my neighbor. We can't find where we fix the language in her Outlook Express, it's currently set as French. When she does a spell check, most of the words come up misspelled and the suggestion is a French word. We have tried to fix it in options but it doesn't give us a choice in languages except for French. Nothing against the French but this just won't work for her!
