I think HFSLIP could do what I need on a fresh install, but I'm trying to upgrade to IE6 SP1 on a system that is already up and running. I despise windows update and anything that "phones home" to M$, and so of course I'm having some problems identifying the correct tools for the job.

"ie6setup.exe" /c:"ie6wzd.exe /d:1 /s:""#E"

I know that something like this lets you go online and download all the required CABs, and that you can do the actual install at some point later. Problem for me is that I think it always calls windows update and wants an an internet connection, even thought the CABs are local.

I was hoping that maybe someone had created a MASTER.INI file for sysocmgr to do this, or maybe someone had done something with HFSLIP for just updating a system with IE6.

Thanks for any links or ideas.
