Jim- Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Hi folks I currently have Active Directory deploying Office 2003 SP1, and a WSUS server dishing out the updates. Now that SP3 is available I'd like to slipstream this install to save the updates afterwards. My question is, whats the 'correct' way of updating the install point. I'd (obviously) rather not remove Office from active directory and re-deploy my slipstreamed copy. However if I simply update the existing install files then the client PC's don't recognise the install files any more. Whether this is real problem or not I'm not sure yet - I can see it complains when you try to uninstall Office as it can't find the original install files. I could see it being a problem should someone try and install a missing component too - but not tested yet. What do you guys do?Cheers
