gnarula Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 Well, a month ago I created a simple unattended XP disc which consisted all the Post-SP2 hotfixes. I used RyanVM Update Pack to get the updates and used the integrator to integrate them. Now, I thought of making another XP disc containing basic applications like WinRAR, Daemon Tools and so on. Also I thought of including Vista Transformation Pack(VTP) 7 for I wanted a Vista look in my edition of XP . The problem lies here:VTP has some problem with the hotfix KB925902 and won't function properly with the update. I simply removed the relative cab archive in the I386\svcpack\ folder. But still the hotfix installs in a fresh install of the OS. I would like to know how can I remove that update from the XP-Install Disk(also from the previously installed OS as it doesn't show up in Add\Remove Program with "Show Updates" being checked)Regards,Gauravgnarula
MagicAndre1981 Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 you have to create a new CD without the fix.
